An interview with Chacho Rodríguez

Interviewer: Hello, today we are going to interview a famous basketball player called Sergio Rodríguez “Chacho”.

Where did you start playing basketball?

Chacho: I started playing in my father’s school team.

Interviewer: Tell us about your achievements in the Real Madrid in the 2014-15 season.

Chacho: It was very good. We started the 2014-15 season winning our fourth super cup of Spain versus FC Barcelona; we also won the King Cup versus FB Barcelona. We passed to the Final Four for the third consecutive year of the Euroliga and the league and we won.

Interviewer: What about the national under-18 team?

Chacho: It was OK. In the Junior championship (under-18) in 2004 that took place in Zaragoza, I won a gold medal and I was named MVP.

Interviewer: How was your step from Real Madrid in ACB to Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA?

Chacho: It was great. I am very excited about this new stage, it is a dream fulfilled.

Interviewer: What is your best memory as a basketball professional player? Olympic gold or ring?

Chacho: The world Championship and both things.

Interviewer: Was it very hard to leave your hometown and succeed?

Chacho: No, it wasn’t. I am a positive person.

Interviewer: Who is your favourite player?

Chacho: Michael Jordan.
